A pleasant hiking trail from the cottage is a perfect example of these villages nestled in the mountains, with the added bonus of its cheese factory to be discovered. <br>In winter you can enjoy two resorts (Peyragudes 4 km and Val Louron 13 km) 10 and 20 minutes away by car, or take the SkyVall from Loudenvielle to Peyragudes. The resorts offer downhill skiing, marked snowshoe trails, ski touring. You can also broaden your field of action with the 4 valleys Pass which opens the doors to Saint Lary Pla d'Adet (30 min from the gondola) and Piau-Engaly (1 hour). Luchon and SuperBagneres are also accessible via the Col de Peyresourdes about 45 minutes away. You will find two sleds and two pairs of snowshoes available in our cottage.<br>In summer, many very well marked hiking and trail circuits will allow you to crisscross the valley, or to gain altitude in order to discover the turquoise blue lakes of the massif (lakes of Bareilles, lakes of Pouchergues, Caillauas ....and of course in the nearby Aure
