The small, idyllic village of Schmißberg is located about 3 km northeast of the county seat of Birkenfeld, where you’ll find numerous shopping options and restaurants. The hiking trail “In the Land of the Kite, Stork, and Co.” begins in Schmißberg. Many scenic loop trails are also easily accessible by car from here in about 10–20 minutes.
On-site costs: Prices include utilities (heating, water, electricity, Wi-Fi), bed linens, towels, firewood, and final cleaning! (The house must be left swept clean, and trash must be disposed of in the designated trash cans and bags. The landlord will inspect the property on the day of departure.) The security deposit is 100 euros and must be paid along with the down payment. A down payment of 20% of the total price is due upon signing the contract.
