The villa is located in the small hamlet of Saint-Julien-le-Montagnier in the Provençal municipality of Artignosc, on the edge of the Var and the Alpes de Haute Provence departments. Rent a quiet little boat in Saint-Julien plage or in Quinson to explore the (lower) Gorges du Verdon. Visit the Provençal market in the truffle village of Aups, and plan a day trip to the student city of Aix-en-Provence for museum visits and shopping.
